About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Executive Director for Digital Health and Innovation to lead the development, implementation, and management of digital initiatives that support the strategic vision of the health service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the adoption and optimization of digital systems to enhance patient care and overall organizational efficiency. This role involves working closely with various departments to manage clinical, corporate, and patient management systems, as well as championing digital innovations and ensuring the security and continual improvement of digital health capabilities. The Interim Executive Director will also be a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to the development of digital business strategies and identifying opportunities to enhance health service delivery. Applicants for the Interim Executive Director position must have a strong background in digital systems within Australian healthcare clinical settings, with a focus on driving and implementing change. The role requires a leader with proven high-level interpersonal and communication skills, analytical abilities, and strategic thinking. Experience in managing large, complex change processes, particularly in a clinical context, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field and a history of building trust and engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders. Senior management or executive experience in public health, at a state or national level, is advantageous.
