Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialist (Level 2 or 3) Associate or Mid-Level to join the Airborne Warning & Control System (AWACS) Integrated Planning and Scheduling (IP&S) Team in Oklahoma City, OK! Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in a finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, program management, or project management role
  • Experience in using Integrated Scheduling tools such as: Open Plan Professional, Microsoft Project Professional, Enterprise Project Management, or a similar tool

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 1+ year of experience using Open Plan Professional (OPP)
  • 1+ year of experience have managing EVM metrics
  • Level 2: 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
