Industrial Cleaners Wanted for Grapevine, TX - ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning by the Experts
Open Positions - Industrial Cleaner & Industrial Cleaning Team Leader
Monday-Friday, 3-hour shifts
Part-time - 15 Hours Per/Week (12:30pm-5pm)

Industrial Cleaning Team Leader : $17.00/Hour + $1.00 Per Hour Bonus Opportunity

Qualifications
  • The ability to be flexible, work at a fast-pace and in a multi-tasked job is a must
  • Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
  • Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward
  • Must be able to lift and and/or carry 50lbs
  • Ability to read cleaning instructions
  • Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and use
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience
Responsibilities:
  • Seeking experienced custodial service workers to work 3 hours per shift in industrial and manufacturing Buildings
  • Our goal is to consistently provide a safe working environment for our customers
  • Clean and disinfect high-touch areas routinely in accordance with CDC guidelines, in spaces that are accessible to customers, tenants, or other individuals
  • Maintain pre-existing cleaning protocols established in the facility for all other areas of the building
  • Ensure that the facility has a sufficient number of employees to perform the above protocols effectively and in a manner that ensures the safety of occupants and employees
  • Ensure that the facility has a sufficient number of security employees to control access, maintain order, and enforce social distancing of at least 6 feet, provided the security employees are otherwise responsible for such enforcement
  • This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customers buildings and grounds by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities
  • Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, equipment, tools and procedures
  • Cleaning duties include: sweeping, mopping, floor scrubbing, polishing, trash pick-up and removal, windows and cleaning and moving furniture and equipment, etc.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Use proper PPE where required
  • Opens and locks facilities, enable and disable security system as required
  • Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Has respect and understanding for co-workers and customers
  • All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed

Use proper PPE where required
Opens and locks facilities, enable and disable security system as required.
1-2 years experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper a plus but not required
Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital or school is a plus.
The ability to be flexible, work at a fast-paced and in a multi-tasked job is a must.
Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
Has respect and understanding for co-workers and customers
Must be able to communicate in English; Spanish speaking would be a plus but not a job requirement.
