Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world-class supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs, has an immediate opening for a qualified individual who has a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work. As a Gas Turbine Technician you will install, inspect, repair, and build gas turbines under the direction of the lead technician. In addition to operate the machinery, cranes, forklift, and hand tools in a team environment. Duties & Responsibilities: Work independently and with team members to disassemble, inspect, conduct minor repairs, assemble, and modify gas turbines, accessories, and support systems. Adhere to work instructions and procedures. Review all phases of tasks, as specified by work instructions, to perform self-inspection or peer inspection of critical processes ensuring adherence to quality standards. Inspect, operate, and maintain shop equipment, facilities, and support systems. Foster a positive working environment and relationships with colleagues. Able to work long hours. Able to lift 40lbs. Able to maintain certification to operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, etc.). Able to use precision measuring equipment. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, follow set safety and quality processes and procedures, and engage in continuous improvement to the safety and quality culture by escalating concerns and contributing to improvements with ideas/solutions All other duties as assigned Requirements High School diploma or equivalent (GED) Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the use of various hand tools including but not limited to torque wrenches, transducers, multipliers, dial indicators, micrometers, scales and other precision instrumentation Basic computer skills Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with different types of gas turbines Machining knowledge A Shop Tour Repairs Division- St. Louis, MO: Our Culture: A Powerful Purpose At MD&A, we truly work together, as one team!
