Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Technician to support a government client in San Diego, California. This candidate will have five years of experience installing, tagging, troubleshooting, and maintaining fiber optic and copper cables and electrical circuits. This candidate will be working with various electrical systems such as radar, communication, navigation, C5ISR, and C4ISR. This role comes with 25% travel responsibilities across various shipyards within the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 6 am-3 pm PST. The pay ranges between $25-$28/hr for candidates who have less than 5 years of experience. Skills and Requirements Four years of communication, radar, or combat system experience. Experience troubleshooting and installing fiber optic cables and boxes. Experience installing electrical wiring, coaxial cables, or fiber optics aboard marine surface ships. Good understanding of Navy schematics.
