Extension is seeking an  EHS Specialist for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients located in  Milwaukee, WI

Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety and environmental compliance programs across the facility
• Evaluate hazards and proactively manage safety risks to maintain a safe working environment
• Track and analyze safety metrics and trends to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement safety best practices and deliver training
• Influence a positive safety culture across all shifts by building relationships and leading by example

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing setting
• Understanding of machine guarding and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and the ability to implement policy in line with compliance requirements
• Strong initiative, communication skills, and logical problem-solving ability

Salary Information

• $85,000–$92,000 annually
• On-site in Milwaukee, WI
• Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm
