+ About the job:
Oversee environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance, reduce workplace hazards, and promote a safe working environment.
+ We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, or Environmental Sciences (preferred)
• Brings at least 2 years of experience developing and implementing EHS programs, with a strong focus on Safety/Cal OSHA
• Understands workplace safety and health regulations and best practices
• Possesses strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Has experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
+ What you’ll do:
• Maintain occupational injury/illness records and determine OSHA recordability for multiple sites
• Oversee accident investigations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
• Manage claims databases and produce annual OSHA 300A summary reports
• Conduct safety training and risk assessments to meet global and local regulations
• Develop and implement safety plans, ensuring daily compliance
• Perform regular safety audits, inspections, and observations
• Educate employees on safety standards and proper equipment operation
• Monitor compliance with county, state, and federal regulations
