We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues, performing panel upgrades, and handling remodel projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in installing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical systems in residential environments, focusing on service calls, troubleshooting, and home improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting & Service Calls:

• Respond to service calls to diagnose and resolve electrical issues in existing homes.
• Identify and repair faults in electrical systems, including circuits, panels, outlets, and wiring.
• Provide homeowners with clear explanations of issues and recommended solutions.

Electrical Installations & Upgrades:

• Install and upgrade electrical systems, including service panels, subpanels, dedicated circuits, and grounding.
• Replace or install lighting, receptacles, GFCIs, AFCIs, and other electrical components.
• Perform electrical work for home renovations, additions, and kitchen/bath remodels.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure all work meets NEC and local electrical codes.
• Follow proper safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Collaboration & Customer Service:

• Work closely with homeowners, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project completion.
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining work performed and any additional recommendations.
• Maintain detailed records of work completed and materials used.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 5+ years of residential electrical experience, particularly with troubleshooting, service work, and remodels.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.

Skills:

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and local building codes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical problems.
• Familiarity with installing modern electrical components, including smart home technology.

Licensing & Certifications:

• Valid electrician’s license (Journeyman preferred).
• OSHA certification or other safety certifications (preferred).
