We specialize in commercial and residential electrical projects, providing top-quality service with safety, precision, and reliability. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to work from our Buford office, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for projects across the Southeastern region.

Position Summary

The Electrical Estimator is responsible for developing cost estimates, material take-offs, and bid proposals for commercial and residential electrical projects. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine project scope.
• Perform detailed material and labor take-offs.
• Request and analyze quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare complete cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead.
• Develop competitive proposals and assist in bid preparation for projects in multiple states.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Update estimates based on design changes or field conditions.
• Maintain historical cost data and pricing libraries.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and occasional job site visits as needed.
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and company safety policies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven experience as an Electrical Estimator or in a related role.
• In-depth understanding of NEC and local building codes.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using estimating software such as Bluebeam, Accubid, ConEst, or PlanSwift.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• OSHA or NCCER Electrical certification preferred.
• Must be able to work on-site in Buford, GA.
