JOB DESCRIPTION

BHE GT&S has an exciting opportunity for a Draftsperson at our White Oaks general office location in Bridgeport, WV.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Make drawings, diagrams, graphs, etc., from rough or detailed sketches furnished by engineers, design draftspersons or others.
• Prepare maps from legal descriptions and survey notes as required.
• Assist engineers and surveyors in making or checking engineering calculations and various phases of field work as directed.
• Operate personal computer, CAD, Automated Mapping System, calculator, etc., as required in accomplishing assigned duties.
• Perform various other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must demonstrate via resume or cover letter that you have met the following required basic qualifications:

Minimum 2 years' experience in drafting utilizing AutoCAD.

Preferences:

• Experience in the natural gas industry utilizing AutoCAD 2015 or later.
• Experience in GIS (i.e., ESRI, Smallworld)

Education Requirements:

Required: High School Graduate or Equivalent.

Preferred: Associate Degree in Design, Drafting, or GIS.
