We invite you to join our newest team at the Stone Bridge Center for Health & Rehabilitation! - Dementia Care Program Director Location: 139 Toddy Hill Rd., Newtown, CT 06470 What You'll Do: As the Dementia Care Program Director, you will lead a team dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centered care for seniors with Alzheimer’s and dementia. You will oversee daily operations, develop and implement engaging programs, train and mentor staff, and collaborate with families to provide support and education. Key Responsibilities of a Dementia Care Program Director: Develop, implement, and oversee engaging memory care programs tailored to residents’ cognitive, social, and physical needs. Collaborate with clinical staff to create and monitor personalized care plans. Certification in Dementia Care (preferred). Minimum of 3 years of experience in memory care, dementia care, social work, or senior living management. Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training and development. Deep understanding of dementia care techniques, including person-centered and behavioral interventions. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to foster relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners. Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care and memory care. - We Hire for Heart!
