Cyber Security Analyst Location: Hybrid Bethesda, MD Salary Range: From $90,000 Must Have Active Secret Clearance CompTIA Security+ certification; CISSP preferred 2-3 years of experience in Incident Response Management 2-4 years of related computer experience or equivalent education and experience Technical knowledge in Splunk, Trelix, and HBSS Understanding of business security practices and procedures Knowledge of current DoD security tools (e.g., Splunk) Hardware/software security implementation skills Familiarity with communication protocols and encryption techniques/tools Knowledge of commercial security products and current Internet/EC technologies Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security or relevant professional training/experience as a substitute Responsibilities Identify, mitigate, and resolve IA issues and concerns Develop and contribute to security guidelines, plans, policies, and reviews Manage IA tickets, tracking, and responses Perform vulnerability scanning and remediation Evaluate Program Protection Plans and other cybersecurity activities Obtain certifications/authorizations for systems and applications Track certification and training requirements (e.g., DoD IAT, IAM, IASAE) Remediate security threats and analyze logs using Splunk Resolve security issues from HBSS, Security Center, Nessus, etc. Design, develop, and implement security solutions for IT systems Conduct risk assessments and security planning Supervise security staff and oversee security infrastructure Gather technical information and perform security risk analyses Support the organization in security infrastructure planning and implementation Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
