About the Role

The Company is looking for a skilled Credit Risk Associate to become a key member of its Institutional Credit Management team. In this role, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of institutional relationships and be tasked with conducting comprehensive credit risk analyses while providing first-line credit approval for various business segments. You will need a robust understanding of credit risk principles and internal policies with particular emphasis on the Commodities portfolio.

Your core responsibilities include:

  • Assessing the creditworthiness and financial strength of complex clients
  • Preparing detailed credit approval memos
  • Monitoring the portfolio continuously for potential credit risks
  • Collaborating with regional and industry stakeholders to enhance credit assessment and monitoring standards

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field, alongside a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in banking or credit risk management. You should have well-developed analytical skills, the capacity to form independent credit opinions, and advanced knowledge of financial statements.

The role demands effective time management and the ability to thrive under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience in financial modeling are essential.
