Schedule

  • Primary shift: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Full-time, rotating shifts
  • Every other weekend required
  • Possible on-call responsibilities

Compensation

  • Annual salary range: $112,500 – $153,000
  • Relocation assistance available up to $5,000 (discussed during interview)

  • Candidates must be willing to relocate

Role Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist – Emergency Medicine to join an inpatient pharmacy team supporting a high-volume emergency department within an acute care hospital environment. This role involves direct patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and participation in emergency response activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services including medication selection, dosing, monitoring, and education
  • Participate in emergency responses such as code blue, trauma, and stroke alerts
  • Support development and implementation of emergency department–specific medication protocols and quality initiatives
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents, as applicable
  • Participate in patient safety, quality improvement, and clinical committees

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program (required)
  • Clinical or hospital pharmacy experience (preferred)
  • Emergency department experience (preferred)
  • Residency training (preferred)
  • State pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure (highly preferred)
