Job Title:

Clinical Nurse Specialist (Urology)

Position Summary:

The Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a urology clinic setting. They will work collaboratively with physicians, staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient care activities
• Develop and implement education programs for patients and support systems
• Supervise medical assistants and provide feedback to manager for annual performance evaluations
• Ensure timely orientation and competencies completion for clinical support staff

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Licensed by the State of New Mexico as an RN
• BLS Certification issued through American Heart Association required
• One year experience working as a nurse in a clinical setting

Working Conditions:

• Frequent exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment
• Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination
