An exciting startup FinTech in the banking, cards and lending space is seeking a dedicated Chief Compliance Officer to join their firm as they continue their targeted growth and expansion. The firm successfully raised a Series B funding round and has grown their customer base deeper in key markets while also adding new products and offerings. This opportunity requires interaction with key stakeholders and executives, as well as working closely with the broader risk, fraud, legal, and compliance teams. An ideal candidate will have experience with scaling the various layers within the fraud, risk, and compliance program at an expanding startup in the FinTech landscape.
The position focuses on optimization of the compliance program by leveraging the use of automation and AI where possible, adding and streamlining systems where appropriate, and facilitating the expansion of products and business while remaining compliant with any relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience automating and implementing the necessary changes to scale. In addition, exposure to the Investment Advisers Act and work with treasury management are a plus.
