Job Description

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cyber Incident Coordinator to join our team in Springfield, VA

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support activities to maintain and share timely situational awareness of network topology, active threats, and actions that could adversely affect the informational environment
  • Share timely situational awareness of overall health and status of information environment defenses
  • Support activities to receive, resolve conflicts, coordinate, and share event information and reporting on incident responses, network outages, threats, and classified information spills
  • Support Mission Manager in the creation and escalation of cyber incident cases and reporting
  • Receive and generate information system security alerts, advisories, and directives from designated organizations for all information environments, networks, and systems
  • Generate cyber threat products based on known, perceived, and understood threats affection communication systems and networks
  • Create, disseminate, and report executive summary on all cyber incidents

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of additional cyber experience in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years of IT or cyber experience
  • Experience working with computer desktop packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills as well as attention to detail as we well as strong collaborative skills and proven ability to work in a diverse team of security professionals.
  • IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with information security practices, networks, software, and hardware
  • Experience working with cyber operations and security architecture
  • Ability to make decisions and resolve problems effectively – Seek out information and data to evaluate, prioritize and formulate best solution or practice.
  • Understanding of latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
