Job Description

Jacobs Levy Equity Management, located in Florham Park, NJ, is seeking a C# Engineer/Developer for application development. This role will assist in building and maintaining C# GUI and workflow application systems that support our financial application development.

Primary Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting the financial applications in the firm, including the following:

• Partner with Finance, Accounting and Compliance on how best to use the technology platform to optimize the business processes
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and incorporate User Experience (UX) enhancements to the workflow management applications
• Work closely with the development team to incorporate additional data feeds, and design and develop visual workflows
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to product quality: provide manual testing of the applications as needed and automate comprehensive testing
• Facilitate QA and UAT efforts for production systems
• Build scripts and utility tools to help the development team, as needed

Requirements

• Masters degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in C# programming, industry experience with C++ is a big plus
• Must have working knowledge of back-office workflows and operations
• Strong knowledge of Accounting processes; Working knowledge of Advent Geneva is a big plus
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry is preferred
• Able to deliver product enhancements on time with quality in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Strong troubleshooting and reasoning skills
