Salary: $25+ Based on Experience

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the integrity and proper functioning of our facilitys buildings and infrastructure. The successful candidate will focus on maintaining and repairing building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components, to uphold a safe, functional, and efficient work environment. oversee the routine and preventive maintenance of our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing general repairs, maintaining building systems, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance of facility structures, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and other building systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues related to building systems to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC units, electrical panels, lighting, and plumbing fixtures.
  • Assist with building repairs, including doors, ceilings, walls, flooring, and related structural elements.
  • Monitor facility environment controls to ensure optimal conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Collaborate with management to plan for repairs, upgrades, and preventative measures.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA standards to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Assist with small-scale renovations or modifications required within the facility.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when necessary.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as necessary.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in a related field is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability, process improvement or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair building-related issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures preferred.
