The Production Coordinator is instrumental in maintaining the smooth and efficient functioning of production processes within the organization. This pivotal role involves overseeing a spectrum of administrative tasks vital to the productivity of the production department. The ideal candidate for this role is bilingual, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with a proven ability to concentrate and multitask effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Undertake various administrative and production-related tasks, actively seeking opportunities to streamline processes for optimized workflow and productivity.

· Execute errands and procurement of supplies within a 30-mile radius of plant operations.

· Review forklift checklist reports to ensure completion and promptly identify inconsistencies or issues.

· Take proactive measures to ensure timely maintenance or resolution of safety concerns by generating and managing work orders as needed.

· Verify packing slips against invoices to reconcile department expenses.

· Meticulously scrutinize invoices for accuracy and promptly identify any discrepancies.

· Take proactive measures to resolve billing errors or inconsistencies promptly.

· Manage the procurement and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplies.

· Contribute to the design, implementation, and updates of warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

· Assist in the development of work schedules.

· Develop presentations and coordinate on-site training sessions with warehouse staff to address the impact of dynamic market conditions.

· Verify off-site equipment parking, and report completion to ensure all equipment is properly accounted for.

· Promptly address any issues related to equipment storage or security as they arise.

· Input production reports and monitor production and equipment usage to identify opportunities for increased efficiency.

· Analyze metric reports for production work areas and make recommendations for improvement.

· Serve as the central point of contact for communication among various teams involved in the production process.

· Facilitate clear and effective communication to ensure all stakeholders are informed of project status, changes, and requirements.

· Identify opportunities for process improvement within the production department and contribute to the implementation of efficiency-enhancing measures.

· Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols, conducting safety inspections, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among production staff.

· Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

 

 

· High School diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in administration or relevant field preferred

· Authorized to work in the United States

· Bilingual proficiency (English & Spanish) required for both written and verbal communication

· Reliable vehicle with a clean driving record

· Preferred prior experience in production or a similar role within the manufacturing industry, with desirable knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.

· Must have strong work ethic and ability to work well with others

· Strong organization and multitasking skills with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure

· Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities

· Self-motivated individual capable of working independently or collaboratively in team settings

· Perform equipment inspections and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Warehouse setting exposed to outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions, and cold/hot temperatures.
  • Exposed to normal work hazards, including various physical conditions, moving vehicles, and machines.
  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment with some allergen products.
  • Mileage reimbursement for company miles on personal vehicle @ IRS mileage reimbursement rates
