Position Summary:
We are seeking a Chemist to join our Analytical Research & Development team. This role involves performing analytical and physical testing of complex inhalation product formulations in a cGMP-compliant laboratory. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with common analytical instrumentation, strong documentation practices, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform chemical and physical testing of inhalation drug products following established analytical methods and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Document all laboratory activities clearly and accurately in notebooks and approved templates per regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data and prepare summaries and reports.
- Contribute to the planning, design, and execution of experiments under the guidance of senior staff or supervisors.
- Assist in maintaining lab functionality, including equipment upkeep, inventory, and general lab organization.
- Review and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs), analytical methods, protocols, and technical reports.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific field required.
- 0–2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Familiarity with HPLC and other relevant analytical techniques preferred.
- Prior experience with inhalation dosage form testing.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate results and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Capable of working independently with moderate supervision.
- Hands-on experience with common analytical instrumentation.
