Key Responsibilities

The Agile PM: Manages the aggregated delivery of multiple Scrum teams Manages delivery from onshore and offshore teams to time and budget Works cross-functionally with management and product owners to ensure that Scrum teams are appropriately resourced Is comfortable dealing directly with highly technical individuals Owns the project delivery process and ensures it supports execution by self-organizing Agile teams Manages end-to-end planning, execution, control, and closure of project Works with product owners to build business cases linked to project goals and the value defined in the stories of the backlog Uses Project Management principles and techniques to assist the product owner and scrum master in ensuring Roadmaps, Epics and Releases are aligned to the overall outcomes required by the project Supports the product owner in communicating and managing the priority of stories in the backlog, WIP and delivering the MVP Creates and tracks a project plan reflecting a Scrum of Scrums, linking development team velocity to project milestones and making work visible Works with Scrum teams to pro-actively identify and manage risks, issues and decisions during the life of the project/epics/sprints Works with stakeholders to manage the scope, timeline and quality of the deliverables Establishes and tracks release, milestones and deliverables between functional groups Collaborates with clients and internal stakeholders to manage expectations and mitigate risk Organises, facilitates and documents the meetings necessary to assure on-time delivery of projects and programs Quickly builds credibility and relationships in a highly matrixed environment Is the primary contact for clients on designated external projects Works with Scrum masters and development teams to drive project success in a fast-paced agile environment Supports the removal of impediments for the Scrum team Embraces the DevOps culture and Agile practices Puts security at the heart of every project Facilitates Scrum events when requested or needed Innovates using knowledge of the latest trends in industry processes and best practices using an empirical approach Sets a positive example throughout the organization for quality and responsibility Prepares all necessary project documentation and processes to enable ongoing support of the Alchemy's systems The above list is not exhaustive, and you may be asked to undertake reasonable additional duties/projects by Management.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential: Strong experience of leading large multi-functional project teams within an Agile development practice Experience in planning complex cross-organisational project deliverables including the management of stakeholders and dependencies Experience of managing and reporting at the programme and portfolio level Demonstrable experience running Agile projects utilising the Scrum/Kanban boards and workflows Experienced in identifying project health indicators and driving actions according to their status Experienced in managing risk and removing impediments to delivery Experience of working across the full Agile development lifecycle Experience of working with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies and toolsets in support of Agile development efforts Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse agile teams, customers, product owners, and subject matter experts. Experience of facilitating stakeholder workshops Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and DevOps practices Successfully launched several live products Educated to Bachelor's degree level or equivalent Desirable: Experience of linking project practices with Agile practices Knowledge and experience with standard PMI Project Management Methodology PMP Certification or equivalent professional experience Proficient in the use of Jira & Asana Experience of project managing a scrum of scrums Certification in relevant professional practices Experience of managing projects in working in a cloud first environment rooted in AWS Experience within the mobile / technology markets
