Onward Search Education partners with school districts and charter schools across Illinois to connect dedicated educators with meaningful school-based roles. We’re currently hiring full-time Special Education Teachers (LBS1) for the 2025–2026 school year across several elementary schools in Kane County, IL .

Position Details:

• Location: Kane County, IL

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, School Hours

• Duration: August 2025 – June 2026

• Caseload: Elementary-aged students (specific caseloads vary by school)

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction aligned with students' IEP goals

• Develop and implement compliant, data-informed IEPs

• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families

• Track and communicate student progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and team planning sessions

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)

• LBS1 Endorsement

• Experience developing and implementing IEPs

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

• Prior experience with elementary students preferred
